"stability in the Western Balkans?" The Current political situation in Kosovo and Bosnia-Herzegovina from the perspective of the international community
Since February this year, the Western Balkans and especially Kosovo are back in the public eye. The status of the former autonomous region of Yugoslavia is being negotiated internationally and decide about the stability in the region. Bosnia and Herzegovina is also 12 years after the Dayton peace agreement faces substantial political consequences of the war. In addition to the long-overdue reform of the Dayton Peace Agreement, including questions about civil society are treated. On the topic of political stability Lord Peter Krahl (BMZ), as the former head of the EU Monitoring Mission in Bosnia and Herzegovina 20th July at 20:00 at the Institute of Geography (R. 72) speak.
